I AM JACOB CARLILE

Jacob Carlile is a second-generation Australian real estate agent, entrepreneur, and investor.

Second-generation Australian entrepreneur and director of Hot Property - the largest independent real estate agency in the Toowoomba region.


Jacob bought his first property at 19 and paid it off by 23. In 2019 he joined the family business, and alongside his father, Leon, and business partner, Greg Riehl, has grown Hot Property from a local agency into an AFR Fast Starters-listed business now managing more than 1,100 properties.


Jacob leads Marketing, Business Development, and Property Management at Hot Property. He also writes and speaks on leadership, standards, and building, the thinking behind how he approaches business, investing, and family. He published his first book, The Dynamics of Change, at 21.


He was born and raised in Toowoomba, where he still lives with his wife, Nicole.

The majority of Jacob's life has been spent immersing himself in businesses, big and small, understanding the fine balance between big picture strategy and micro execution. It is through his study of business development, marketing, sales, human behaviour and entrepreneurial psychology that Jacob looks to reshape the future of successful businesses within Australia and across the globe.

Jacob leads the management of more than 1,100 properties at Hot Property, as a Director.

Jacob leads the property management team, marketing and new business initiatives as a part of one of Australia's fastest growing businesses (AFR Fast Starters 2022).
